Low Back Pain
Summary. Low back pain is a leading cause of disability worldwide, yet most cases respond well to targeted, non-surgical care. Our clinicians use imaging, diagnostic injections and interventional procedures to find and treat the source of lumbar pain. Every plan is built around your diagnosis and recovery goals, with options that include epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, PRP therapy and structured rehabilitation.

Benefits of interventional low back pain treatment
Non-surgical care
Treats disc herniation, spinal stenosis and nerve compression without hospitalization.
Image-guided procedures
Fluoroscopy or ultrasound guidance for precision and safety.
Opioid-sparing care
Aims to reduce or eliminate reliance on opioid medication.
Faster recovery
Most patients return to normal function within about 24 hours.
Lasting facet relief
Radiofrequency ablation is described as lasting 12 to 24 months per cycle.
Root-cause focus
PRP addresses tissue damage in discs, ligaments and joints.
Personalized plans
Treatment is tailored to your diagnosis, with pain specialists and physical therapists coordinating care.
Full workup
Includes MRI review, nerve conduction studies and diagnostic injections.
Same-day access
Evaluation and treatment can start the same day, with no long referral wait.
Our Low Back Pain Services
We match treatment to the cause of your pain, starting with an accurate diagnosis. These are the main options we use for low back pain.
Epidural Steroid Injections
X-ray-guided injections place a corticosteroid in the space around irritated lower back nerve roots. By calming inflammation, they can ease pain and make rehabilitation more comfortable. Relief typically lasts 3–6 months per injection series.
Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
A minimally invasive, heat-based procedure that interrupts pain signals from worn facet joints. Relief is described as lasting 12–24 months per cycle, making it a longer-term option for facet-related back pain.
PRP Regenerative Therapy
Concentrated platelets from your own blood are injected to support the repair of damaged tissue in discs, ligaments and joints, targeting the underlying problem rather than only the symptoms.
Sacroiliac Joint Injections
Targeted injections, and radiofrequency ablation when appropriate, for low back and buttock pain that starts in the SI joint, which can be the source in up to 25% of patients.
Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation
Structured programs build deep core strength, improve hip flexor flexibility and correct movement patterns. This reduces load on the spine and helps prevent pain from returning.
Facet Joint Injections
Diagnostic and therapeutic injections into the lumbar facet joints. They confirm whether these joints are the pain source and provide anti-inflammatory relief, often as a step before RFA.
